These Terms govern your use of cathydotson.com and courses.cathydotson.com and any purchase you make from Cathy Dotson Educational Consulting, LLC. By using the Site or buying a course, you agree to these Terms.
The courses and what you receive
We offer online continuing-education (CEU) courses for Christian educators, plus workshops, administrator coaching, and accreditation coaching offered by inquiry. When you buy a CEU course, you receive access to the course content and, on completion, a certificate documenting the credit described at the time of purchase.
About CEU credit and acceptance
Cathy Dotson Educational Consulting, LLC is an approved continuing-education provider for the American Association of Christian Schools (AACS) and Association of Christian Schools International.
Per AACS’s approval (granted September 3, 2026):
“This letter will serve until indicated otherwise and per the stated prerequisites on the application from Cathy Dotson Educational Consulting, that AACS will accept such certificates, indicating the completed number of contact hours, as credits toward AACS certification.”
ACSI Approval: (Permission Granted on September 4, 2026.)
Acceptance by any other school, district, diocese, or state — for licensure, renewal, or professional-development requirements — is determined by that institution or agency, not by us. It is your responsibility to confirm that these credits will be accepted for your specific needs before purchasing.
Pricing and payment
Prices are shown on the Site in U.S. dollars and are charged at the time of purchase through our payment processor. We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.
Refund policy
Because our courses are digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final and no refunds are provided once you have accessed the course. “Accessed” means you have opened, started, or downloaded any part of the course after purchase. If you believe you were charged in error or the course did not load at all, contact us at [email protected] and we will work with you in good faith.
Acceptable use
Course content is licensed to you for your own individual professional development. You may not share, resell, record, redistribute, or reproduce it, or share your account access with others.
Intellectual property
All content on the Site and in the courses — text, video, materials, branding, and the “See Me After Class” podcast — is owned by Cathy Dotson Educational Consulting, LLC or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use purchased content; you receive no other rights.
Disclaimers
The Site and courses are provided “as is.” We work to keep content accurate and current, but we do not guarantee any particular professional, licensure, or employment outcome from taking a course. Educational and coaching content is for informational and professional-development purposes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a course or the Site is limited to the amount you paid for the course at issue. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
Intended audience and location
The Site is controlled and operated from the United States and is intended for users in the United States. We make no representation that the Site or its content is appropriate or available for use in other locations. Those who access the Site from elsewhere do so on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
Dispute resolution
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Site shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Hannover County, North Carolina, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue of those courts.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Severability and no waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms; the “effective date” shows the latest version. Continued use of the Site means you accept the updated Terms.
